Gabriella B. Kiss - short summary of scientific career and activity

Gabriella has achieved PhD in Mineralogy, Petrology, Geochemistry. She has research experience in ore formation processes, hydrothermal fluid-rock interactions and fluid inclusion studies. She has been leader, supervisor or participant of a few national and international projects. She has been awarded by a postdoc scholarship of the National Excellence Program. She is fellow member of the Society of Economic Geologists and member of the Hungarian Geological Society, secretary of the Ore Geology Section of the latter. Since 2008, she is teacher of several mineralogy, ore geology and hydrothermal processes related subjects for BSc, MSc and PhD students. She has spent 2 months as visiting lecturer at the University of Zagreb. She has been supervisor of 9 student research projects, 19 BSc and 21 MSc thesis as well as 2 PhD research. Author and co-author of 17 scientific papers, 2 book chapters and 2 teaching material. Besides being active in research and teaching, she is mother of 3 wonderful girls.
